Fox Hollow Farm: Haunting Ground of the Forgotten

After the killer vanished, something else remained—voices, shadows, and spirits that refuse to be silent.

Part 2 – The Haunting of Fox Hollow Farm:

After Herb Baumeister’s shocking death and the gruesome discovery of human remains on his estate, Fox Hollow Farm was left with more than just a scarred history—it was left with something inexplicable. For years, rumors had whispered through the local community that the property carried a dark energy. But it wasn’t until new tenants moved in that the full weight of what lingered there began to surface.

Rob and Vicki Graves, the new owners of Fox Hollow Farm, hoped to put the property’s grisly past behind them. But soon after settling in, they began experiencing disturbing phenomena. Doors opened and closed on their own. Unseen hands tugged at clothing. Whispers echoed through empty rooms. Shadowy figures were seen darting through the hallways and around the infamous indoor pool—where many believe Baumeister killed his victims.

The most unsettling encounter came from a tenant named Joe LeBlanc, who lived in the converted apartment above the garage. A skeptic at first, Joe was soon forced to reconsider. He witnessed a full-body apparition of a man with hollow eyes standing in his doorway—only to vanish before his eyes. Footsteps followed him throughout the home, and objects moved inexplicably. On one occasion, he captured what appeared to be a disembodied voice on a recording, pleading: “Help me.”

Paranormal investigators were eventually brought in, including teams from local and national outlets. EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) were captured throughout the property. Psychic mediums reported sensing overwhelming fear and confusion, as if the victims' souls were trapped, unable to move on. One investigator claimed the home held a psychic “imprint”—a replay of pain and death, endlessly looping where the trauma occurred.

Some visitors reported being overwhelmed with nausea, dread, or sudden waves of sadness while walking the wooded areas behind the house—where the remains were buried. Others described fleeting visions of men running through the trees, or screams that seemed to come from nowhere. Despite attempts at cleansing the home, the activity has never fully stopped.

To this day, Fox Hollow Farm remains a chilling intersection of true crime and the paranormal—a place where unspeakable horror unfolded in secrecy, and where the echoes of those lost may still cry out for justice.

The house stands. The pool is still.
But the dead do not rest.
